UP High School Cebu held “Ibang Klase”, a career day for students, last October 8 at the UP SRP Campus.

Students signed up for 16 career-oriented classes offered in four tracks: Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM); Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS); Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM); and Arts and Design.

UP High alumni went home to share their experiences, to enthuse, inspire, and motivate our 160 high school students from Grades 7 to 10.

The distinguished speakers were: Jude Bacalso (Class 1990), Quennie Sanchez-Bronce (Class 1992), Jose A. Tan II (Class 1993), Dr. Rio dela Peña (Class 1995), Dr. Jecyl Amaya-Radam (Class 1997), Engr. Van Patiluna (Class 1998), Atty. Olive Grace Tapayan-Hebron (Class 2000), Ellen May Zanoria-Reynes (Class 2000), Sr. Insp. Maria Theresa Macatangay (Class 2001), Gerardo Ray Abatol (Class 2010), Jacqueline Hayley Limtin (M.Ed. 2009), Prof. Gregg Lloren (Arts and Humanities Faculty), Dr. Tiffany Adelaine Tan (Business Management Faculty), Paul Cabral (Sciences Lecturer), Mr. Niño James Bañares (CNU Faculty) and Sir Mariano Vidal (former Fine Arts professor).
