Since the early 1990s, UP High School Cebu has lived up to its mandate of democratizing access for the masses. As an institution, it empowers students who are academically gifted but are economically disadvantaged. Although the students do not pay tuition, many still struggle financially. To help the students, the alumni, benefactors such as the Pilipinas Una sa Lahat (PUNLA) Foundation, Inc., and other generous sponsors have provided scholarships.

We hope that there will be more warm-hearted and generous individuals and organizations who will be willing to be benefactors for our exceptionally talented Iskolars ng Bayan in UP High School Cebu.
